Overview
Teresa (Teri) was born in Portland, Oregon. She graduated from Western Business College in 1984 and began working in the legal field immediately thereafter. She joined Sussman Shank in 1993 and worked here until March of 2000, when she took a job at Enron's Portland office. She happily returned to Sussman Shank as a paralegal in February 2001. Teri has over 8 years of experience in the legal field.
Teri works with the Business group's attorneys to assist companies in observing corporate formalities, such as documenting actions of company representatives, either in minutes of meetings or by signed statements, holding annual meetings, and maintaining company records. She also is responsible for assisting attorneys with small estates, probates, guardianships and conservatorships, and the administration of trusts.
Civic Organizations
Teri is a volunteer advocate for Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA), which is a network of community-based programs that recruit, train, and support citizen-volunteers to advocate for the best interests of abused and neglected children in courtrooms and communities. Volunteer advocates are empowered directly by the courts to offer judges the critical information they need to ensure that each child's rights and needs are being attended to while in foster care.
