Kristin has 20 years of professional civil litigation experience in both plaintiff and defense work. Her focus includes white collar criminal defense, personal injury, and OLCC litigation in Oregon, Washington, and Federal Courts. Kristin also has experience in the transportation industry with an emphasis in trucking.

As a paralegal, Kristin assists the litigation team with all areas of complex litigation and trial preparation. Kristin is responsible for obtaining case related information through documents and people. She requests, reviews, organizes, summarizes, and distributes discovery between all parties. She also identifies, locates, and interviews both cooperative and non-cooperative witnesses. Additionally, she analyzes medical records and drafts summaries when needed.

Ultimately, Kristin’s work assisting the lawyers with depositions, mediations, and trials, is integral in case management, assessing case value, and resolution.

Kristin volunteers as a Court Appointed Special Advocate (CASA). This experience provides her with a unique skill set in obtaining information that otherwise may be unavailable or difficult to uncover.

I am hard working and diligent in my effort to develop and maintain long standing client relationships. I have a traditional litigation approach mixed with creative, outside-the-box thinking. I appreciate opportunities to grow and overcome challenges, and understand each case presents their own. A love of sports has allowed my competitive side to come out at work, resulting in a focused desire to obtain a favorable outcome for our clients.

PERSONAL INTERESTS

Sports are a huge part of my life! I love to watch and play, although playing has been traded in to watch my daughter live her passion. Softball is our favorite and you can usually find us at the ball park, traveling from tournament to tournament from Spring through Fall. We don’t just love softball, though. One of our best memories was a recent trip to Kansas City to cheer against one another on Christmas Eve when the Chiefs played the Seahawks.
